Monday 1 June – Red Day Challenge

Eat as many different red fruits and vegetables as you can! We are looking for diversity and variety, so send us your pictures please. From strawberries to beets red fruits contain natural phytochemicals that contain disease fighting properties. Full of vitamins, minerals and fibre they’ll also keep you looking beautiful too!

Tuesday 2 June – Try Something New Challenge

Eating a variety of foods helps obtain all the goodness our body needs. Be adventurous! Take the plunge, try something new and get those taste buds working. How daring will you be??

Wednesday 3 June – Sugar Free Day Challenge

Let’s see how many of us can exist the whole day without eating sweets, cakes, biscuits, chocolates and any desserts that contain added sugar. Ditch all sugar today! Try eating fruit instead, it contains natural sugars that gives an energy boost.

Thursday 4 June – Veggie Day Challenge

Eat as many different vegetables as you can! Did you know a balanced meal should consist of 50% vegetables? Veggies contribute enormously to our good health providing an important source of nutrients, minerals and fibre. They contain a high percentage of water and phytonutrients which is good for our skin and hair plus calcium and magnesium that help keep our bones strong.

Friday 5 June – Water Day Challenge

Did you know our body is approximately 70% water? We need to keep it that way! We should drink 1.5 litres (approx. 8 glasses) of water a day to remain well hydrated. Water plays a crucial role, it carries nutrients and blood around our body, regulates body temperature, lubricates and cushions organs and joints, aids in digestion and flushes toxins from our body. Get drinking – cheers!
